Hi! My name is Mairi, and I'm a lively Scottish woman with a taste for adventure. Last year, I upped sticks and moved to Crete - despite having never visited Greece before! I am a Tarot reader, highly intuitive, and trust my instincts. I have a very wide range of interests, including motorsports (I used to enjoy track days), swimming, cooking, knitting, gardening, pets (birds & dog), computers and communication, learning, music, Netflix and Gaia, metaphysics, biological sciences, and psychology to name a few. I'm fairly well-read, and can happily engage in conversation on many topics, always enjoying to learn more from people who love to share their experiences. My love of adventure has brought me some unique opportunities in life; when I was 23, I moved to Shetland and initially was putting up fences, before I became a helicopter cabin attendant flying offshore to the oil rigs (there were only 6 cabin attendants in the UK then - I am literally one in 10 million! When redundancy hit, I moved to the Netherlands - another country I had never visited before - initially as cabin crew, but found my niche in IT instead. Self-taught from books, I built my own computer and volunteered for Greenpeace's International Headquarters for a few months before landing a peach of a job with Canon's European, Africa and Middle East headquarters, and my IT career took off from there. Music is very important to me, although I no longer play any instruments. My musical tastes range from Mozart to Metallica, with a good sprinkling of Trance, especially psychedelic Trance in between (I was not adverse to raves, back in the day, although I no longer take drugs at all - not even pharma ones. I overcame a batch of health issues that mystified my health professionals, and am a connoisseur of marijuana for its healing effects - although I no longer need or take this. My political views are centre-left and socialistic, and I am kind-hearted, loyal, and generous to my friends and loved ones.
