I've been an independent single mom for many years, and now that my kids are mostly grown up, I'm ready to find my partner to build a beautiful life together with. I'm a creative person and have many hobbies and skills that I use for fun and income. I do a lot of sewing and I work on/with computers. My favorite time of year is summer when I go camping with my friends. We traditionally go for a 10 day trip in July/August. I love going to the mountains in the winter too, playing in the snow and skiing. I haven't tried snowboarding yet, but my daughter wants me to try it so I'll be on a snowboard soon. I have very eclectic tastes in activities and music. Older music is fine in small doses, but I can't sit through too much 70's music at once. I would rather listen to punk, or techno, or Lady Gaga, or for that matter music from the 1930's and 40's, or Mozart. Just don't torture me with country or butt-rock-or Phish... Patsy Cline is good though. I'm open and don't have a "type" but I would love an easygoing, fun, honest man who loves adventure and is...well, what is the opposite of narcissistic? I guess it's not selfish and shallow. I want a man who genuinely wants to be in love with their partner, and be a participating partner in a committed, exclusive relationship with her (me.) I want someone with youth and maturity, and I’m not talking about age. I would love to find someone who doesn't hunt or smoke, and ideally, prefers a mostly plant-based diet. I have mostly dated men younger than myself just because their interests have been more in alignment with mine. I'm not set on any particular age, but people always think I'm a lot younger than I am, probably because I am active and living my life and not stuck in the past. It's not that I try to knock myself out to appear younger; I am just moving forward while living in the present. Every August I make the trip to Black Rock City, Nevada for Burning Man. It's a very important part of my existence and I will continue to go. I would LOVE a partner who enjoys going there too! I've never enjoyed that experience with a man and would really love the bond that it would create.
