Hello, my name is Terry. I’m currently incarcerated and seeking someone to write as a friend. I’m 27 years of age and I’m what some may consider a free spirit, very humble, respectful with a loving heart. I love to read, play basketball and do anything I can to exercise my mind. I’m not the judgemental type of person, I believe in giving someone a chance. I also believe in growth and development along with self betterment. As I sit behind these walls, I have a great opportunity to find balance and clarity in my life. Life is about choices, sometimes we make good ones and sometimes we make really bad ones. After the bad choices we always have the opportunity to make better choices. Just because I’ve made some bad choices doesn’t mean I have to continue making bad choices. I’m learning from the choices I’ve made and growing from them. The mistakes I’ve and the time I’m spending in prison doesn’t define me, those experiences are just part of my life story. People go wrong thinking the time we do makes us who we are, it’s what we do with the time while incarcerated that truly makes us who we are. Prison has been a stepping stone for me because I’ve allowed myself the opportunity to grow and change with the time.
