I was married for 22 years. I am now free and interested in checking out the "dating" scene now. I work hard, take care of those around me and am now looking for some fun for me. I am not necessarily looking for anything long term or serious yet, I am very much a play it by ear kind of person at this point in my life. I also truly believe that sparks happen, we don't make them happen. I would like to meet a man who is interested in good conversations, doing fun things and is wanting to let things grow rather than trying to make something grow. I definetly would like to meet a man who doesn't judge a book by its cover, as I am finding that most decide by my picture what the rest of me looks like - which is not accurate at all. I think I am pretty easy to get along with; I very much dislike the typical things...bad drivers, too much traffic, people that don't engage their brains and end up wasting my time and complainers. I tend to be on the silly side, and have been told I am corny at times. I have a HUGE range of interests, so much so that I really think the days should be lengthened so I can get it all in. I love animals - have 2 dogs, one of them I am currently training and hoping to be doing rally with. I am looking for someone who likes to laugh, doesn't sweat the small stuff and enjoys life. It would be great to find someone who enjoys weekend getaways - I am an avid photographer and love to seek out new places to photograph. But it wouldn't necessarily have to be weekend getaways - just someone who enjoys going out and doing things. I would basically just like to have some good company, no hang ups on what we should be doing or where a relationship should be going. I do have two children, who both are living with me. They are older kids, one graduating from high school, the other one already graduated. I enjoy spending time with them, and we do do things together and have fun doing whatever it is that we come up with. One is getting ready to fly the coop and the other will be doing the same thing in the near future. I lost my Dad not too long ago and my Mom a couple of years ago. It made me rethink a lot about my life and take steps to do things differently - from exercise to relationships.
