Howdy...Once up a time in September 2021, after my wife, Michele (fifty awesome married years) died of cancer, I decided to improve our family campground in Hamblin Valley, Utah (So. Utah, two miles from the Nevada border)so that I and a new friend, partner, companion, wild child (yet to encounter--thus I am here) could live a back to nature lifestyle (free outhouse included). I'm 73 going on 19 and still cut, haul and stack firewood, just faster than most fifty year-olds. I'm an ex cop, ex pi, ex military, bookstore, bike shop, A&W drive-in owner, currently publishing THE POWER IN THANK YOU, AND POP'S WACKY WISDOM. I have a CAN DO BE KIND, LOVE EVERYONE RECEIVE ALL THINGS WITH THANKFULNESS ATTITUDE. I'm a down to earth dirt guy. Gonna build another shack, cabin, green house, garden, root cellar (just in case the garden sprouts). My family includes six kids and their spouses and more grand kids and great kids than a daycare center. They've been coming to Hamblin for over twenty years for kids camp (1 week in July). And the rest of the year ain't no one there but me and "you?" I smoke, I drink a little (rum and coke after dark--it's my new hobby). My granddaughter introduced me to music. I'm hooked. I'm honest, dependable, and a little nuts in the good way if you like living close to nature. Tom
