Man, add 20 years and I'm living the same life, all work, little play.
I'd say yes, there's someone for everyone. I probably met her when I
was young and stupid and treated her badly until she got fed up and
left.

Younger can be mature and older can be juvenile, just depends. Same
thing for looks, it's hard to tell, some people are 30's high mileage
looking like they're 55, some are 55 looking 40, just depends. A good
heart is where it's at. Sanity is a plus, honesty, gee, I'm dreaming.

I'm not much of a shopper, but if a woman wants an escort to the mall or
a department store I'm fine with that and can be decent company.

The U.S. political landscape has come down to choosing which side you
want to enslave you, the fascists or the socialists. Rudy Giuliani may
make a great president if you don't mind the eight o'clock curfew. The
Reno years at the Justice Department were scary as hell. Civil rights,
constitutional rights, they're all slipping away, Clinton, Bush, same
coin, different sides.

Yeah, Bush/Cheney had an agenda. Saddam is dead and that makes it all
worthwhile for Dubya. Sure they lied, they're politicians and that's
what politicians do, Republican or Democrat.

My mother wants hymns and they sang them, not praise songs. The worship
part was very well done, very reverent, and beautiful. When I want my
needs for a non-traditional family addressed I guess I'll go Saturday
nights to the big church down the road where it's a multi-media and
rock'n music service. I'm sure my daughter will feel more comfortable
there too.

My band has played for a couple of singles nights. The people ranged
from odd to depressing to whackos clinging at my trousers trying to sell
me island juice.

Not sure, still looking for that age when sanity returns.

News flash, Iroquois homicide bomber strikes again. Leader takes
Tomahawk to U.N. and waves it before general assembly, is given Nobel

Not sure if real is worth anything. Some of the most prolific and
apparently loved posters here hide behind obviously made up personas.

I will grin and bear it if my mother can sing the hymns she loves and

British Palestine? Are you saying that Jordan is not part of the land
of "Palestine?" And since when does a notation on a map mean a
sovereign right to territory? Prussians unite!!! Take back your
land!!!! I have a map right here that says it's yours.

The second class status of divorced members is nothing new. I have a
feeling he has a need to continually preach on the sanctity of marriage.
He introduced his wife to me as his "first wife" and I know he did it to
make a point. If only he could walk a mile in my shoes.

I just got back from taking my mother to visit a new church which is
Southern Baptist. The pastor spent forty five minutes talking about
marriage. The last church we attended was pretty much the same thing,
designed to minister to married couples. Anyway, on the way out the
door I asked the pastor if there was a place in his church for a family
made up of me, my mother and my daughter. He looked stunned and said of
course there are single adults there too. His sermon made it seem like
only a man and wife could have a relationship with God and all divorces
were a failure before God. I had a clear Biblical reason to divorce my
wife. Am I wrong to feel left out of this and other churches?

well?
