I don't know, everywhere I have been has been better than the city I live in...lol. Ummm......this is the most difficult question I have faced. Perhaps Iceland, because that looks like a hard language or Australia, so that I box with a kangaroo. lol I'm just a traveler, I will be happy anywhere...except home.

A traveler has no boundaries but usually will always come home at some stage

 If you could choose to live anywhere in the world and have the means to enjoy life in the way you would like.....WHERE WOULD IT BE?
waving smile2 waving

There's no other place that I would want to live than in my own homeland Philippines, with a tropical climate, beautiful islands to visit and have fun, hospitable people and mostly family oriented. I do dream to visit other places and learn about different cultures yet i would still return to the place where I grow up feel comfortable.

Been there many times and agree. My favorite city is Davao

Hawaii comes to mind but I think its only because I haven't visited it yet and dont have a realistic perception of it

I used to love it also but have found it to commercialised now, other than the weather you may as well run down to Seattle.

Im not surprised to hear this . Many of the places we dream of are only idealistic from a tourist's point of view. Im still looking forward to visiting some day :)

You have to see it for yourself to realize whether you like it or not. I tend to like places that are laid back and not overtaken by outsiders. I met a true 80 year old Hawaiian some years ago in Hong Kong and we talked about his homeland and he sat there in front of me and cried. Finally he said he has no homeland any more, it has been stripped of culture by the whites and Japanese. He was so sad that he would never see his home again as it was. Sorry for the long quote.

No need to apologise . This was a very moving story :)

Like many places, they have been taken over and run by commercialised businesses, therefore looses it's culture and identity .
When I visited Thailand it was the same, the city was crowded and packed, as soon as we got up into the mountains, there was this calm, peace and fresh air.

That happens in many countries. Where the real people have retreated into the country side or mountains in order to keep their way of life intact. It is like our own countries and the animals. Construction is forcing them out of their habitant and soon they will have no place of their own.

Gum and food smackers. Is it so hard to chew with one's mouth closed?

Drives me insane, I was in an elevator the other day with a girl chewing ice. I wanted to scream in her face

Hope she didn't try to blow bubbles

Name callers.
My guess is, they start out as bullies
in the schoolyard and graduate to
throwing mud on others to elevate
their sad lack of worth.

Ah, yes. Name-calling. The intellectual equivalent of monkeys throwing their own feces. Gross, annoying, and only the monkeys think it's clever.

Bullies are bullies under any name and should be brought to bear
