so unprofessional  laugh laugh

So unprofessional indeed....

I mean the goalie and the defender went for the same ball together
which ended up at the back of the net.
......Pure lack of communication between defender and goalie!!!!!

Secondly, where was the defense when Sniejder got a free "gifted" header??????
......Lack of coordination, concentration and marksmanship!!!!!!

and he keepin granpa Veron on the sideline.......Im pleased with the team. Still would take out Di Maria though, but he can bring it. Demichelis better get his game on too.....

Agree, Veron should be at the bench for 90".
If Messi can draw out one or possibly two defenders, then that leaves
Germany with just 9 men playing. And Tevez can have his freedom.

The only worry for me is with the defence.

actually I wanted Brazil to tie them after that 3 against the goalie bunch of fumblin fools missed that goal........ surprised

Am not very convinced about the Dutch performance.
It's just that the Brazilians lost it.....

yea, Argentina is the best so far... but there is a long way to go, and other hard teams to beat even if they get past the Germans, i would worry about Spain too and i guess the dutch too.

If you're gonna be Champions, you've got to
beat the best....
And you beat them by scoring goals......
Messi and Tevez are the amunition.
Giguan is in the right place and at the right time.....
Just be patient.....all shall be revealed in the days to come.

By the way, we have talked so much about our
choice of countries and their games, but i haven't seen a single
comment about the DUTCH and their 'conservative' performance.

That was my earlier quote in this thread.....

But the Dutch spoiled the "Dream Date" that i was looking for and
boy or boy, didn't i like that???????

It's a party tonight!!!!!.....drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks drinks

Personally i'm interested in just two
of the Quarter Final games.....

NETHERLANDS Vs BRAZIL
ARGENTINA Vs GERMANY

I have a strong feeling that the winner of these two
games, would meet each other in the FINALS!!!!!!!

is it ALWAYS a big deal. maybe the american stations are hyping it because america is actually in it this year and they don't seem to care about much if they aren't involved?

The FIFA World Cup is ALWAYS a big deal world wide.
As a matter of fact, the 1994 FIFA World Cup was hosted by the United States.
Average attendance was nearly 69,000, which broke
records that had stood since 1950, due to the bigger capacities
of the American stadiums compared to those of Europe and Latin America.
The total attendance for the final tournament of nearly
3.6 million remains the highest in World Cup history, despite the
expansion of the competition from 24 to 32 teams (and from 52 to 64
matches) in 1998.

The USA played in that edition as host and even entered the
Pre-Quarter Finals, only to lose to the eventual winner Brazil by a
solitary goal, and that too in the most controversial of circumstances.
Since then, the USA has always played in all the FIFA World Cup....
1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010.

To say that the American stations are hyping it because the USA is
involved in it and that they do not care if they aren't involved, is
a total distortion of facts.

Just for the record.........

No EUROPEAN country has ever won the "JULES RIMET TROPHY"
outside its own continent!!!!!!!.

This is the CURSE of the European Nations!!!!!
It is a JINX !!!!!!!!

Latest statistics, reveal, that the CURSE or JINX
(call it what may); may continue this year as well......

Of the 16 nations that have qualified for
the Pre-Quarter Finals, 10 are non-Europeans,
whilst only 6 are Europeans.

All the 5 Latin-American teams have qualified for the pre-quarter finals.

Fixtures for the Round of 16 is such, that only 3 European teams
can qualify for the Quarter Finals. This means 3 Europeans teams
out of a total of 8.

Looks like a forlorn hope for the EUROPEANS !!!!!!!!!

It's been an issue for a while now. I think the best course is for the referee to start hammering down on these things and start flashing that yellow card for the fakers.

OOOOppps!!!!!!! But what if we have a referee like the one
we had last night between the Spaniard-Chilean affair?????

It's all over in Port Elizabeth.

Chile have defeated Switzerland 1-0, thanks to Mark Gonzalez's header.

Oh yes!!!! The French have totally lost it
without even having to play their last match (or so if seems).

Moreover, all that Uruguay and Mexico have to do tomorrow is to play
out a dull draw, and they're both safely through.
