 I have a signal!!! Yea! I was afraid you had froze solid! Actually....I may move to Alaska...I kinda got used to the cold...it was refreshing!  I've spent a lot of time there. My daughter was called.It was two days process just for the selection.She was SO Haooy when she wasn't picked. I resent the fact that it is forced on you. Oh yeah...the selection process sucks....just tell'em you believe in Capital punishment...HANG THE SUCKER!!! I think it could be done a lot better than it is. A co worker has been called for two different times and me nothing. She had at least one a week to show up for, but never had to go to court. It might not be too bad if they paid your lost wages but unless its in your job contract you are screwed. Hey Betts....sounds like you're mad...we get paid for jury duty....$8.00 a day! That might pay enough to put gas in your vehicle  not at $3 bucks plus a gallon  We will all have to drive Mopeds Yeah! The kind with working pedals.!!!! Could be quite cool this winter though.  Think of it as skiing ... with moving feet! I'm trying, but all I seem to think of is broken bones

I am they held my kid up for two days.Never asked her a singel Wquestion the let her go .She lost a pay because of this. The thing here is your employer can't fire you for not being at work..but I know what you're saying...I always look at the number on my card...it'll tell me how long I have to stay during selection. They cannot fire you here either, but its up to the employer whether you get paid or not and how much. Yep, lucky where I work as they will pay you your regular wages for an 8hr day. |

I unloaded my trailer, finally yesterday...all but the king size mattress...I couldn't do that by myself. Sounds like a lot of work. |
