One side is always right and the other side is always wrong. When has that ever been true? That's the US political landscape. Rather than left and right I look at it as a clock. The far left and far right are at 12:00. They might be polar opposites but they are both equally batsh*t crazy to make them the same. The closer you get to 6:00 from both sides moving in opposite directions are the people I want to listen to. They listen to both sides and make an informed decision, they don't do what the news networks they listen to tell them to do.
