I'm not one to hang out at places in hopes of meeting someone. I do however start up conversations with people if I'm waiting in checkout lines. I don't seem to have a lot of men to converse with in those lines. Maybe I better go to the sporting goods stores, especially the guns and hunting sections.
(Maybe I better hang out at the shooting range.) |

Yes there are a good number of tall men. I have been looking more at height. I get a lot of responses from shorter guys. I'm also 70 years old and get responses from a lot of younger guys. I wonder how serious these younger fellows are. I think at my age over 5 years younger might be a bit too young. There is definitely nothing wrong with being friends! There has been one young fellow that I message that is fun to banter back and forth teasing each other. |

That is true. People should think more about the potential that a person might have with the similar interests. It doesn't take a lot of effort to meet for an introduction unless there is great distance. If the person is not a complete turn off, a second or third date might make a big difference in true compatibility.

That is why I posted some pictures that showed more of my body because I did not want to misrepresent myself. My pictures pretty much show the real me as best as a picture can tell. I would not want to be embarrassed to meet someone and them find I was not what they were expecting.

I have just recently started to notice men's height since I have been on dating sites. It seems a lot of men are about my height or shorter.

MK. You are right about the unsuitable ones. It is amazing how so many are WAY too young or are the older ones that look older than their years. It is very hard at my height and age to find what I consider a person for me. I suppose I'm a little hung up on having a man taller than I am.

As a 50 and 60 year old I was slim. As one gets older losing weight is much harder. At 40-50, I was skinny but thought I was fat.
As far as being secure and confident, I find I am very secure and confident. My body may not be perfect and I have some wrinkles, but I am comfortable in almost all situations and can carry on a conversation with anybody. I just replaced my main photo. This one was taken 3 days before Christmas, 2018. |

A 70 year old and a 20 year old in most cases do have different ideas of what is attractive or acceptable to them.

I find a nice smile and an ability to carry on an interesting conversation helps a person appear more attractive to me.

A big thing that would boost the profile's of men and make them look more handsome is to shave or trim their beards and comb their hair.
Everybody looks better when they have a nice profile photograph. |

I would like to find a gentleman that is at least 2-3 inches taller than I am and within 5 years of my age or close to it. I would prefer them on the younger side since a lot of men look older than they are. With age and height, there seems to few choices. I am a bit curvy but am told I am nice looking. I did have one gentleman that was tall and 66 that told me I was a beautiful lady. I'm still looking.
