Did you know that an amendment was introduced today by Nebraska other senator to remove nebraska special deal and the dems voted it down.... Nebraskans are FURIOUS!!! LMAO Let me guess! You read that on a Republican misinformation blog! Surely had it been anywhere else you would have provided a link. What diff would it make anyway? The bill has passed! LMAO Well, too bad you are not up to date on your info.... GOV. DAVE HEINEMAN, R - NEB.: Well, we've already made it clear, Greta, we want all these special deals removed. In fact, this afternoon, our other United States senator, Senator Mike Johanns, introduced an amendment to strip all of the special interest deals from this bill, and the Democrats objected! Hope you are satisfied.....it's out there everywhere but I chose to give Fox news the credit just for you. That ain't no BLOG And the difference is that the dems have no integrity at all voting for a bill that has special deals for four states. IT IS WRONG. Not that it matters because the only reason it entered the negotiations was because Nelson ask for it on behalf of his Gov and the bill passed, but do you have a link! Here is the text of Heineman's response to Nelson.
"Regarding the unfunded Medicaid mandate, Nebraskans expect a fair deal not a special deal. Governors all across America are troubled by this unfunded Medicaid mandate. If the U.S. Senate plans to address the unfunded mandates issue, all states must receive fair and equal treatment. Neither Nevada, Vermont, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Nebraska, nor any other state should receive a special Medicaid deal that is not available to other states. It is imperative that every state is treated fairly and equally or all special deals must be removed. How true it is.....yet the dems were willing to vote for this bill when Nebraskans and a few other states get special deals.....democrats have no integrity when it comes to getting their way Florida gets a special deal on medicare advantage that other states don't get. Once again, the dems are willing to overlook such. |

As does the legislation and fines for Insurance companies raising premiums at will and the shopping for policies by consumers, which will begin lowering costs of policies by adding competition to the market place. Dream on....in la la land It is estimated that a family of four making $66,000 will still pay 10% of that in premiums over and above deductibles and co pays. Republican blogs are a tool used by the Republican Party to dupe the uninformed into believing their propaganda of misinformation and lies.

That's because as a duped Republican follower you fail to get passed the parts that fit the Rhetoric. You fail to even notice this, Nelson, who has strongly defended the provision, told reporters, "The governor said take care of it. I did." Ok we have all had our say about healthcare. WIthout damning either side of the issue lets talk about the healthcare we currently have. I have a great plan through work costs me 64.00 a month for a family plan though it will go up 20 bucks in june of next year. ten dollar co pay and rest is 100% paid. all specialists of course must be refered by primary care physician. HOw about the rest of you? But, the true costs of your insurance is what you pay plus WHAT YOUR EMPLOYER PAYS for you. So, since everybody doesn't have employer insurance what is the point of your thread? Do you know what your plan costs your employer??? |

I say it's a lie! The Republicans, by offering nothing but obstruction chose not to be involved in negotiations. Incorrect observation... Twas quite the opposite... Every Republican 'offer' was slapped aside by the democratic majority... Reality bites... Check the ammendments and what they would have done... Then work real hard to convince yourself that 'nothing' was offered... REAL PROGRESS WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE... Had Congress and the Senate listened to all of us. Astroturf is what I am... Dont' tread on me. You are either dreaming or have not been paying attention at all. Seriously as for why the republicans can't vote for the bill without the public option....if you would listen you would know....the bill without the public option is worse than the bill with the public option. They have allied themselves with the lobbyist to block any kind of Health-Care reform in America from day one.
