Oh just a few hours of drive time won't hurt

I don't even like driving the few hours to my hometown. Kentucky? Well that's not gonna happen.

Just went to Gatlinburg TN last month. That was a long drive/ride from here. I don't think I'll be going far south for a while unless is real far south to Florida or the islands. :D

I think it would be pretty awesome if some JSHers picked a con to go and meet at.

That would be pretty awesome. The JSH Ani-Con lol

yeah i saw part of that (sailor moon and the 7 ballz) C-ra-zy
probably one of the worst hentai out there yet like a train wreck it was fascinating in a "Did she turn into a she-male?" type way. Its hard to stop watching until its finish then you ask yourself 'What the bleep was I thinking about?' but it is sort of funny, mainly because of how bad the acting and animation is.

"Quite simply, Sailor and the Seven Ballz is what is the result of a drunken, barhopping rave followed up by liberal viewing of hentai anime at someone’s home as the aftermath." T.h.e.m Anime Review

Totally agree with them.

Has anyone seen the Live Action SaliorMoon?

I think driving all the way to Kentucky to watch anime is a little too far :D

Sailor Moon was the main show that got me into anime. It first appeared on the USA network. I thought it was the most awesome show ever. When they discontinued it I was really sad. They some umpteen years later in appeared on Cartoon Network, I was very excicted.

My brother and I use to have fight about DBZ vrs SailorMoon. I still believe SailorMoon is sooo much better than DBZ. DBZ is the only show I know that takes 4 episodes for a character to 'power-up' laugh

omg, in high school there were anime fans who would watch it together...but they never let me in and I was sad...i was too nerdy for them laugh

Yeah that's pretty wrong. If it was possible maybe you should have made you own night and invited some friends. Maybe that would have made the others more open to you, unless they were real jerks.

There was this guy in our club that most of the officers didn't like but we invited him to everything the club held because anime is something you share...pass the word along...anime is a good thing.
:D
But our Hentai night was a inner club (best friends for 4 yrs) kind of thing. Only the 5 of us girls could participate and no guys were allowed Its sad that we can't do girl's night anymore because Erin has a move-in boyfriend now and the rest of us either have roommates or live with the parents until the loans are paid . :P

I haven't been in an Anime club since my last year of college. But for a while my girlfriends and I use to get together and have our 'Officer's night' (we were all Anime club officer at one point so that's why we called it 'officers' night') I digress...

We use to get together at my friend's house and watch anime, laugh at everything girls laugh at, and just kicked it. For a while we actually converted it to 'Girls Night' and watch Hentai. That was so funny. We even made a story line for our own Yaoi comic.

It was like Mystery Science Theater 3000 Hentai version. But our Official Anime club was similar in hilarity and smart-alek jokes without the porn of course.

Elven Lied - is pretty good, female cyborg assassin?
Kite - watched several times, about teenage female assassin
Noir - more female assassins - yeah
Saikano - less dark than previous ones because its suppose to be a love story, pretty good & strange, an yeas another female assassin/killer.

I love anime theme songs...usually...if I had to pick favorites I'd say....well yes Tank of course from Cowboy Bebop. And Come My Way, an Inuyasha ending by Naime Amuro. I like some of her other stuff tooo. How about others?

I was in love with 'Tank' for a while. And I like 'Autumn in Ganymedy' Inyusha have a couple of good opening & ending songs done by BOA. I like the Trigun Opening and Outlaw Star, both have a nice rock-n-roll to them.

yeah Mai Hime is good with action too.

Lovely complex is sort of new. It was a manga first.
I saw the anime and i like the style a lot. It's a comedy about a girl who is taller than most guys and a guy who's shorter, about the size of a standard Japaneses girl.

BTW Mai-Hime as great music too - Kajiura Yuki composes it, an instrumental soundtrack

Has anyone watch elven lied (know that is a crazy series) very dark. I'm more of a shoujo/bishenen anime girl, romantic comedies most of the time. Anyhow Eleven lied has a great song opening call 'lilium' sung in latin - female vocal version is better than the 'saint's version' which is sung in chant like monks/priest would.

Bishies 4-ever

Thank you. There's still a lot that I don't know. laugh laugh

No problem. If anyone wants some website that allows you to download free anime, manga, and sometime music let me know. I have plenty of links.

FYI: it's legal to download and watch most online anime & manga because they're usually not licenses in the US yet and are fan sub with permission of the producers/manufacturers.
