Oh another idea... how about having expectations of her... like her going out of her way to be with you and not just you making the sacrifices. Make it equal. I hope you aren't all give and no take. That's not fair to you.

I tried to get it to work that way but it never seemed to work, it seemed like she did not relize what the world is like.

Wow and you want to keep that relationship going? Might I ask, what do you get out of it?

Well i did care for her but i guess that not enough in this day and age.

its not the quantity of time spent its the quality of time being spent together...

very true and i always did my best that the time that i had on the weekends was well spent. with my last girl friend i would swing by the college and pick her up go out to dinner then she would crash at my place. I would get up an extra hour for work to drop her back off at the college that meant waking up around 12am after about 3 hours of sleep.

I don't think it is a matter of saying merry christmas so much as it is wanting to wish all a happy holiday in case they do not celebrate christmas but celebrate something else. All inclusive happy holiday season is better than one inclusive merry christmas especially if the person does not celebrate christmas. JMO

That's a very good point but there is no reson they should be keeping the kid's in the schools that do celebrate christmas from doing anything that has to do with christmas

I will say Merry Christmas all I want in public...

If they don't like it- they can kiss my Merry (__I__)...

Merry Christmas!!!

I agree with you on that

well i can't speak for anybody else but i am totally against this merry thing! it's like that freedom of religion thing ya know?!? why go around calling me merry when i may not be! i think we should all band together and get that changed to mediocre christmas, or average christmas or something like that! political correctness! thats all i have to say about it!

well the one thing wrong with that is they are not saying your merry but that that you have a merry christmas

So i just want to see what people think about saying merry christmas in public.
