i was wondering what is the longest time that u have been single. i have been single for 14 years I am a little confused...I thought in the other threads and on your profile you were getting married in 2006....maybe I can't count but thats a heck of alot less then 14 years???

I think at least for me....that in the ideal situation that when a couple split and divorce that for the childs sake they are always on the same page. And never never never talk bad to the child about each other. I think at least imo that is where the fear of upsetting her father comes from...Not sure and of course would have to know more. No one wrote a book on motherhood or fatherhood but I think people in general have a tendancy to put self first...even when have kids...and if that were not the case we wouldn't have so many screwed up kids.. Thanks Deb...I try very hard to NOT talk bad about her dad in front of her and he and I well we get along for the most part. I think it is just hard because they had to learn to interact with each other after we seperated because I never forced him to be a dad and now he has to and he has little patience and that scares her a little! Plus not to mention the fact that he is ALREADY re-married and his new wife is expecting. All this in one year! That is alot for my daughter to deal with! I encourage her the best I know how but I feel so bad for her sometimes. I want to fix everything but I know I can't! UGH!

By the way, Fairy, I love your avatar. I have that picture on my laptop and as album art for a song on my ipod. Thankyou LadyDragona! Sharon (aka ashcoveredsoul) gave it to me a few months ago so I have a LARGE print of it hanging in my living room!!!! I have a thing for vamps!
