Funny little story...My father used to wake me up by starting to make my bed with me in it. I would get up and help him make the bed...military corners and all. It's a habit that stuck and I still make it the moment I'm out of it...military corners and all.   Old habits die hard! 
my mom used to make me make my bed with her when i was younger... and that's why i don't do it now, don't need the reminders of hospital corners
