In my point of view both systems have their advantages and disadvantages. But the advantages of a Mac overweigh more and more e.g. stability of the operating system, protection from viruses/less viruses and harmful software at all, all the good and free software like open office, ...
On the other hand, for gamers a PC is much better. My next computer will be definitely a Mac.

I've loaded and installed the final version of SP3 from the official Microsoft website last weekend and there ain't no problems at all - just a few new drivers, the common security updates and e.g. options for WLAN (WPA2).
