That's beautiful Queene ![]() Oh how comforting it is to be at peace; not only with oneself but with our fellow human kind and with all (beauty) that surrounds us. This poem makes me think of the effect the rainbow has on me after a heavy storm..."with all the beauty that often brings the life of glory..." Love it Well written my son loves the rainbows and last yr for xmas i bought many things i could find that was looked like the colors of a ranbows even found a rainbow light off of amazon also found a mexcian poncho that had the rainbow color and i used that for the oover on a bulitan board and bought color letters at the dollar store and put his name on it and spelled lucky for my son was born on st paddy day but he is also a special needs child my son is 27yrs old and hes my baby That's really special; thanx for sharing ![]() The rainbow. Colours that symbolize victory, unity and calmness. South Africa, after years of oppression was deemed the Rainbow Nation by the late Father of our Nation, Nelson Mandela. The rainbow. Delivers a soothing, unspoken message addressed to whom ever that appreciates its comforting beauty. The rainbow. A secret message of hope. Felt and heard by your son. And by me. BrownTeaz. ![]() |

Because of your profile, yes it is honest but the whole thing reeks of negativity, and you paint yourself as a loser, and it seems you expect others to see you that way as well. You can say the same things, but paint it with a different brush. Working at Walmart isnt a bad thing, sure some may see it that way, but it isn't. At least you have a job, that should mean that you have some sort of work ethic, you are trying to write comics and have a hobby, so what if you cant draw (niether could the creator of Charlie Brown), keep at it, that means you're creative, you may not be able to afford your own place yet, but you're living with your brothers to make it work, so you're resourceful. So here is what I've gotten so far, you're a young guy in his 20s, whos not overweight with a steady job, your creative and have a passion for writing comics, you don't live with mom and dad and are at least trying to better yourself.... . don't be so hard on yourself, and good luck Nicely written Isaac. That's the kind of encouraging words that every self-doubting person needs to hear from time to time. Respect! |

Shooo!!! I didn't see that coming.
When one has had enough; one thinks of an escape route. We often judge people who commit suicide without ever understanding the root cause. The reality is children need to be loved, to feel safe and to have inner peace...And when one doesn't receive any of these, they tend to do the unthinkable. |

Watch (and dance to) a live Raggae band performing on the Durban beach back home in South Africa...But now I'm in Saudi...and considering that Sunday is a working day for us...I would have to say teaching a Yoga or Pilates class

Best described to others as happiness
Best seen on a genuine smile Best felt in the lightness of every step Best experienced in the suns daily light Oh what a joy it is to live! Oh what a joy it is to breathe! Oh what a joy it is to see, to feel, to experience... happiness! Joyfully, I live happily! |

Depends what country you're in or plan to go to. I think there are countries where it wouldn't be particularly smart for a woman to travel on her own. I wouldn't like to travel in Middle Eastern/Muslim countries on my own. I.e. been to Morocco with my ex. That would be okayish on your own, provided you are very careful. We travelled on local buses, which hardly any tourist did, and at some point we were literally crammed in, pushed up against the windows, cos there were that many ppl in the bus. I would never ever have done that on my own. Even with my ex there, I felt uncomfortable, so did he. ANd had I been on my own, I sure as he|| would have left the Sukh well before dusk. We had intended to do that as well, got lost. Things can get awkward after dusk in places like that, however good they may be during the day. So it depends. I'm a South African living and working in Saudi Arabia and in the time that I've been here I've never had any problems. I've recently visited Abu Dhabu, Bahrain and Dubai - all 3 trips ALONE - I had no problems. I'll be going to Egypt at the end of November ALONE and I'm looking forward to it. No fear just anticipation of having a good time ![]() My point; the Middle East is not dangerous (in my opinion). I actually feel safer here than any other places I've travelled in the world. |
