My sister and I argue this alot. She believes that yes, there are some who are meant to be alone. They're put here to be mothers or fathers to many, just none of their own. Lovers to several, but not one who is truelly significant. And friend to the rest who happen to pass through her life.
Personally, I'm kind of on the fence. Three marriages, four serious relationships total and I'm wondering if most of us don't go through a phase where ARE meant to be alone. Perhaps it's to give us time to work on ourselves and our flaws. Figure out why our relationships fail. How many times have we caught ourselves going from relationship to relationship just to keep from having to listen to our own thoughts? To keep from spending time with ourselves?

I did a google images search for Eric True Blood...typed just like that and went YEAH BABY when that one came up
