Recently in a local paper there was an add stating that they would be
testing the weather warning system....WEATHER PERMITING. LOL. Does
that make any sense to anyone? I can understand that if it was tornado
season or something, but come on now, be serious, how bad does the
weather have to be to "permit" it??? Just doesn't make any sense. LMAO

actually mimi could be several reasons one being there have been tornado
outbreaks farther north than arkansas this time of year I have seen
some idiots do it when there were bad storms predicted for that day and
they actually held the tests. Left you wondering what to do.

If I was the tester, I'd have to do it just to f*ck with people and see
how many were payin attention. Down here in the south, most (not all)
folks don't pay attention to stuff like that. Look at the folks in New
Orleans, they were warned HELLA in advance, and look how many were
stranded on their homes and sh*t. Most of the people figure, it aint
gonna happen here, but the sad reality is...... that it CAN!!

well RED...some folks in New Orleans didn't have the means to get
out...and th city didn't command th busses to evac anyone...
there was even a vehicle designed to go thru really deep water, even
floats,,,kind of like a bus/boat thing...
the inventors asked FEMA if it was needed, but were turned away
saying it was too much red tape to get that kind of funding for such
thungs...

bet they had wished FEMA said yes now...huh???

I feel sorry for th folks who were actually stranded there...

but those who had a way out but chose to stay
were the biggest fools of those days, thinking they could survive a
hurricain...

I've seen the storms destruction first hand...
my heart goes out to the loss of life there...
the city even lost over half of it's police force...

but nobodiy is saying anything about Beaumont,Texas...
it was tore up just as bad,but did not flood...
from what our cuzn Rick said...FEMA never even showed up to check on
them...

OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK...WTF???
