as a parent...what would you prefer your kids to see?

partial nudity?
Love and Art?

or hate,death and war?
killing and blood and gore?

Violent movies?
or a trip to an art gallery?
or museum woth statues of nudity, carved in marble?

some site(nameless for now)
has offered to allow 300 pictures as a way of promoting a movie about
war and hate, with blood and gore, killing and rapes...

yet that same site killed some of my pix,
containing "Partial Nudity"...considered to be "ART"...

didn't HITLER burn thousands of books?
while promoting his war machine?

no longer are we the land of the free...
we are now the land of the CENSORED...

"as a parent...what would you prefer your kids to see?"

I think that misses the point, because as the parent *I* am responsible
for what they see, and want that right to remain fully intact, without
interference by someone else who thinks their 'art' is suitable for my
'children'.

That said, I dont want someone jumping in my face telling me its "their
right" to broadcast objectionable material with funding in whole (or
part) based on MY tax dollars. I dont want to hear someone calling me a
neo-nazi because I object to public funding supporting their personal
rants and fantasies.

Collectively, I'm not in favor of legislation to regulate porn,
violent-content, or other "objectionable" material. The free market does
a good job at that. Adults can choose what they wish to enjoy - in an
adult context, and 'regulated' by a free market.

Just dont use it to "compell" me to support "your choice" of content
through my tax dollars or through brow-beating.

my "ART" was on my personal page,
and I did not give permission to have it censored,
or viewed by youngsters...

also, those who know me,already know that some of my pictures are rated
(PG)

I do not force myself on anybody...
not my rights, beliefs, nor my type of "ART"...
they had the option to NOT view my page,or pics.

like if the music is too loud...
the volume knob also turns to the left...

or if you know there is partial nudity on a movie...
and don't want your kids o see it...
don't watch that movie...

I feel so violated now...
as my art was my form of expression...

I tell my story with my artwork...
not just words...

I feel that children honestly should see it all. The sooner they know
what is really out there, the better. The kids who usually get hurt the
most are the ones that are sheltered, and don't know what to do when a
certain situation arises. If ya teach them about stuff like that,
kidnappin, rape, violence, etc., they hopefully will know how to get
themselves out of that situation. How many parents have thought to
themselves, "If I'd only taught them what to do..........."
