Hey. My first girlfriend ever told me she was 1 year older than she really was :P That relationship lasted 3 years, lol. Maybe there's something to it?

Seriously though... I think everyone does it for the same reason she did. To be accepted in the eyes of the people you're targeting. If you're here for dating, and you want to date a 26 year old.... you probably think "what age would a 26 year old be looking for? And then.... lie about it.

Of course I think its absolutely silly because the truth will be discovered sooner or later.
