I think we're getting to the point (as a society) where it is becoming abnormal (statistically) to not be at least divorced once, with a couple kids, or maybe some illegitimate children in my case (jk).

I'm 35 and I've never been married or had children. It's because I've put extra effort into my career over having a family at present. I'm NOT knocking having a family, though- it's mostly about personal responsibility and maturity on my part, as I don't want to put any children I have to go through what I did when I was plopped on this rock (which was a lot of crap, for the most part). Of course you can't be prepared for everything, but I'd like to think you should be able to cover most of the bases with a little more maturity and economic stability.

I'll tell you this, though- being 35 and single DOES sorta suck, if only for the snide comments like, "Your THAT age and not married yet? Whatsamatta? You gay or somethin'?", and the like.
