Topic: Soldier jumps on grenade to save comrades

Man gives his life and saves 4 others. Just wow. Didn't he get his medal of Honor? This guy is what I would describe as a hero, he gave himself up for his Battles.

I heard that this morning We should use this with our propaganda machine to show those who use their bodies to murder how our guys will use their to save

Yea, he got the medal of honor, and I agree he is a true hero.

AMAZING STORY, One can only imagine what his family must feel. amazing prride and heartbreak all at once. i agree with Robert, great poit if you're gonna give your life do it to save others not take them

Well its just what a soldier is taught throughout his time in the service...selfless sacrifice. To me he is a hero and im just another Soldier.

Well its just what a soldier is taught throughout his time in the service...selfless sacrifice. To me he is a hero and im just another Soldier. Those who chose the life of a soldier are all heros to me. There is a sacrifice involved in giving your life in service also. I am thankful that not all service has to end in death. I don't think that makes it less valuable.
