I have been avidly looking for work since I moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas for about a month now. I have had absolutely no luck until today. My friend Brandon told me about this place he works where you are basically telemarketing to big companies trying to get donations for non profit organizations. Special Olympics, Children's Cancer foundation, and other things of the like. He told me yesterday that the recruiter came in saying she was wanting to hire more people, and today I got HIRED!! Brandon was the only person trying to help me...lol, so basically he's now my new best male friend. I can finally do something I feel good about. Knowing what I'm doing will make a difference in the lives of children makes it more than the perfect job for me. I go in Monday for paper work and I'm STOKED! I actually have the start of a CAREER, not just some mundane job that I hate. I can see myself loving this. I adore the woman who interviewed me, she's a total sweetheart and everyone there seemed to be having a complete blast. I can't wait!

Keep that attitude b/c any type of telemarketing is hard, but if they sense that you are excited about the cause they will be more apt to donate. Best wishes! flowerforyou

I'm so excited! I've NEVER been excited about starting a new job before...lol. Its always been gas stations and fast food. I hate fast food, and watching some single mother choose between buying bread for her kids and gasoline got really depressing. I love that what I'll be doing is going to help others! Helping others is my main drive in life, I could not be more blessed to be able to do this.
