I've always just had better luck interacting and conversing with older women - that, and they generally seem to have more interest in me than most girls my age seem to be - so liking them kinda' came with the territory. The cougar are more balanced emotionally and can even be protective at times. Men love to be nurtured by their lover, even mothered; this quality is rarely in women who are as old as them. Because they need to be preoccupied with their own career, so they need a person to care about their life and family. And older women can understand them.

Cougars are just women who enjoy younger guys. Big deal. Men have been doing that forever and still are. How could anyone find anything wrong with a woman dating anybody she wanted (assuming they are of legal age) same as men.

If a 50 year old woman can attract a 18 year old man and have a good time, more power to them both.

I don't consider myself a cougar but I have had an awesome time with a friend of mine who is 14 years younger than I am. I never thought I would attract let alone be with someone in their early 30's, it just happened and it was amazing. The songs says that women peak at 40 and men peak at 19, I'm starting to believe that. I won't ever try to date someone that is younger than 30 though. There is just something about being old enough to be their mother that doesn't sit well with me. I have learned that to determine if you are a cougar you have to involve math. You take your age, divide by 2 then add 7. Anything younger than the number you come up with is a cougar bait.

in my early 20's i loved the cougars ! they were wild, creative, and solid participants. Best part they were all fine for just doing weekends.Got scary when one put her wedding ring back on her finger after i dropped her off! Now i'm 33, can't call them cougars anymore..now what...grannies ? but seriously, cougars serve a purpose to train young guys to sex hard, and in return they get what they want too, everyone's happy, no complications.

I think it is a validation thing for women but sad. I could only be with a women my age or older. Never half my age and I have had the opportunity. Women are their sexiest between 40 and 60 anyhow. Why would I want to be with a women younger.
