Wonderful story, Marilyn!
I agree w/most here in saying the Pledge should be taught and recited daily in our schools across the country. The words "in God" should remain (its good enough for our money, right) I stand and salute all of our soilders who are fighting for my freedom, your freedom and our children's freedom. Thanks for sharing and reminding us how precious our freedom is and we are all united under one flag.
