I tell ya WHY! It is plannned obsolesence!!! Big companies pay BIG bucks to engineers to design thing with a limited time usage!!!YOU think I am kidding dontcha? NOPE! It is true! Jeans are designed with flaws in areas that are not easy to repair...(side of zippper, rear end...etc...other items are desinged iwth built in defects to break after a certain usage time! This is called "PLANNED OBSOLESENCE" ...Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! IN the past week my cell phone speaker went out...My daughters cell phone broke and my $500.00 vacumn cleaning BROKE too!   DANG crummy engineers:tongue:

(but i got a new phone a new phone and it was free free free...well not exactly...had to buy my daughter a $449.00 to get mine free ohwell BUT, I only had to pay upgrae price and also got $100.00 off and got a $50.00 rebate tooooooo:banana:   )

Well... Hmmm.. God designed and engineered humans, and we're always breaking, either mentally or physically.. Is man supposed to do better?

So you say they do not break but something should break at another time or another right they are machines. Unless like me who works for a bank and get blamed for the little man inside of the atm that took their money and won't give it back.laugh

I did read another articel that did state a good use for planned obsolecense...keeping consumer cost down in some items that will long become outdated before the parts wear out...electronics for example or cell phone...a part may only be needed to last so long...as the item itself become obsolete so quickly...so companies will save money on cheaper parts...(this is their story LOL)bigsmile
