I'd set it at 8 deg BTDC and run ported vac to the dist, but thats just me. lol |

In 1956 the common small-block Chevy engine was the 265, with its passenger car rating of 162hp. Soon after the first 265s hit the showrooms, customers wanted more performance and Chevrolet responded with the 283 in '57 and then the 327 in '62. 8 degrees BTDC is the correct timing though! |
