DARK SCROLLS RPG CARD GAME IS HERE!

Finally the long awaited Dark Scrolls Fantasy roleplaying card game has arrived. Dark Scrolls contains 370 cards for you to enjoy and 11 nations will be dueling it out in the Lands of Bavidirian! There will also be many free adventurers in the lands trying their luck for fame and power!

Welcome to the Dark Scrolls card game! Many of you have waited over 4 months to have this game out and I thank you for waiting so patiently! If you are interested in joining this card game then please email me and I will help you get set up. I will also draw an illustration of your personal photo and convert it into a fantasy creature of your choice for fun!

This thread is used for dueling and to find out what season (era) you are in. There will also be valuable information and adventure stories told for your entertainment. Please visit as much as you can!

For the game players

What can you do?

1. Ask Storyteller to look at the mercenary cards available for your nation.

2. Ask Storyteller to look at the spell card options.

3. Give Storyteller time and date to do an adventure to earn gold or a spell card.

4. Reply and take the challenge of an Adventure Quest in the thread if it is available. Every 3 eras an Adventure will be announced to earn a magical item!

5. Challenge a duel with a nation by announcing it here on the thread.

6. Visit the Green Dragon’s Inn thread to earn 100 gold pieces or after 10x for evil alignment a spell card. http://mingle2.com/topic/show/152977
From 9pm to 10pm Eastern Time if you stay in the Green Dragon’s Inn and actually chat the whole hour you can earn 1000 gold pieces or a spell card! You must email storyteller for the reward.

8. Create an alliance with a nation.

9. Use your powerful Dark Scroll by announcing it on the thread.

10. Ask Storyteller to look at the various commoner cards available after a duel is won.

The Alliance’s leader (silverwaya) is ill and in no position to lead the nation. The Alliance is looking desperately for a new leader! If you know of an able hero and leader then please hail in these lands!

The Lands of Bavidirian are in great danger as the strongest nations seek a way to conquer them. Only one can succeed! Which will it be? The Alliance who have towns scattered throughout the Lands of Bavidirian. The High Elvin Empire that have their towns north of the lands on islands. The Dwarves who live on the mountains. Perhaps the Undead or the Demon Nation who have conquered the underworld. Let us not forget the shrewd Gnomes with their great inventions and do not underestimate the dark elves who know ancient ways of combat. The elusive and skillfull Bandit nation are not to be underestimated with the nastiest outlaws the land knows. The Pirates of Doom are best known for their terrorizing dark sailed flying battleship called Doomsday. The mighty orcs are also not to be taken lightly as they use sheer strength to get their ways and last but not least the powerful vampire nation ready to take life without you even having a chance to resist. Only one can succeed and he doesn’t share power!

There is unsettlement in the underworld as the undeads sense the disturbance from the lands of bividarian. The undeads start moving towards to surface to conquer and rule the lands.

A messenger rides many days towards the cold mountains to meet with the leader of the Dwarf Nation.

The gates open as the messenger arrives at the halls of the dwarves to meet the mighty king who leads the nation.

I bring a message from the Alliance.

The dwarves once had great halls deep in the mountains. They had great mines to find the most rarest gems any man can find until the Demon Nation had driven everyone out of the underground. The Dark Elves have fought many cyclones and have lost the war against the Demons and now live on the surface. Have you forgotten what the Demons have done to your people?

Break off the alliance with evil and join the forces of good mighty nation.

The messanger then bows and waits patiently for the dwarven king to reply.

ADVENTURE 8 has been chosen by the Undead Nation!

and so it begins


It is the Shadow Forces destiny to destroy the Forbidden Stones from the empire. It will not be long until the secrets of its powers will be deciphered. Around the hill are companies of knight’s egger to take back what is vital and sacred to them. A small group of pixies throw quickly magic to the worthless humans they call knights. As a shining figure comes into view that bares the emblem of a paladin and sits straight on his harness ready for the challenge. Many Shadow Knights hiss at the disgusting sight of such bright colors of the enemy.
Eventually war horns are blown signaling the empires attack. Not amused you
remain calm with your men watching the knight’s struggle up the hill towards you.
As they come halfway up the hill the sharp sound of many swords are unsheathed
revealing long and black crude swords forged by death itself. The pleasant smell of
poison fills the air as the weapons send of its extract killing the terrible fresh air
humans so adore. With a wave of your hand the battle begins. The paladin seeks you
immediately as he charges forward to a duel.

You have engaged in battle with Stormblade experienced paladin of the Lands of Bavidirian.
