There is no point in worrying about the erosion of personal freedom that is the reality of our present era if we can do nothing about it. They say that knowledge is power, but that is one of the greatest myths of all history. Knowledge without action is useless and leads only to apathy and despair. So the question is: what type of action can reverse this trend? Writing letters and signing petitions to the same people who have created the problem is not going to do it. Voting for candidates selected by power brokers with hidden agendas will not do it either. There have been many proposals to reverse the tide of totalitarianism but, after decades of effort, none of them have worked.

In this address, G. Edward Griffin, Founder of Freedom Force, tells us why; and the reason is so simple, it will astound you. Once we clear away that single barrier, the plan for a pro-active counter-force falls quickly into place. This is the missing piece of the puzzle, the ultimate solution we have been seeking.

interesting.

very long too.

although the US Constitution did not foresee Rhodes Scholars and members of The Foreign Relations Board like Bill Clinton, it did incorporate some peculiar notions regarding limiting powers of government.

One is found in the Declaration of Independence.

"...and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former system of government."

due to a "repeated history of injuries...and absolute tyranny over these States."

But the King of England was also determined to dissolve representative Houses repeatedly for the invasion of the rights of the people. As the colonials saw it.

Now, that is a rub to retrying the revolution.

No rebuttal offered.

Now then.

Tat having been stipulated, there is only one way that a civil war may occur in America without appearing treasonous in the prelude to such a war.

That prelude would be the divisiveness of a central authority at odds with the "collectivisms" of the states themselves along partisan political lines, whereas the state militias and the US military have different authorities and protected accountabilities.

though that is not the collectivism of the lecturers' definition, nonetheless, it is collectivism.

But the rub is that the same collective States finding possible fault with the representative government of the centrality at the Federal level, which is also comprised of three branches of checks and balances, but yet it is representative of the States and is the States by virtue of the representation itself, cannot supercede the powers of the Federal government.

If representation breaks down, then the federal level can be accused of being unconstitutional, perhaps.

If the electoral college loses its assumptions, or the Judiciary legislates too severly from the bench and the executive office exercises over reaching powers and the three are complicit in defying the representative will of the States as a collective, then I would say an argument exists for civil war.

But a coup of the federal administration and the other two branches within a term of office would be required for the coup to have seized abrogation of the principles of the US Constitution, thereby legaLLY PRECIPITATING A CIVIL WAR BY THE sTATES AGAINST THE fEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

Short of that, treason is all that is left to employ.

The American people will never agree to treason and civil war.

Which brings us to where we are today.

One view is to globalize everything.

The other is to become a closed society labeled protectionism.

With economic international trade being what it is, i doubt that protectionism will ever be more than a romantic notion pining for simpler times inly imagined of the past.

Growing pains are never romantic when being experienced.

Our comfort zones of apathy loathe change, but change is all there is.

"Truth never happens the same twice", as CS Lewis has said.

It applies to the bravery required of a free people to dare to struggle with human rights as a universal principle worthy of all due diligence by a thoughtful people.

we must wrestle with the minutia, daily.

there is no big picture except the one painted of the past.

Past is prologue, but prelude is inspiration.

we must at least vote well with our wallets in these avaricial and greedy times.

And our "collective conscience" must respect our history and heriitage or ALL is lost.

I do not want to lose America.

but I would wish better for America than what avarice and greed have brought to our day.

less is more.

nobama wants bigger government unequivically so.

no way.

vote with the wallet and the conscience.

We cannot go back.

we must survive the bankruptcy of this nation by staying connected to this land and defend it, or lose it.

No one knows what will come.

but come what may, we must remember who we are and whose we are.

peace, out.

I'm not really sure what this person's postions is but wouldee...you are correct. It would be funny to see if LIBS would actually rise up to defend themselves? That would mean laying down all their pretenses. LOL It would reveal their own hypocrisy...but then again we do see it in their onslaught of SARAH PALIN....Right?

the looney left hates happy clear minded bright and articulate family oriented traditional and upright heterosexual successes.

Mrs Sarah Palin embodies the American Spirit.

The Democratic Party is systematically setting out to assasinate Sarah's character and mischaracterize her record and slander her well intentioned transparent and wholesome life to steal the White House keys.

Americans don't matter to the left.

Power matters.

simple.

Krushev made it clear that the Soviets would never have to invade, that Americans would let elites eat us up from the inside out, like cancer.
