Oil is central to our nation’s security. There is no way that we should allow wall street to speculate on something that is so central to our nations economy and safety.Greed in action again.

Thomas Jefferson:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies."

Fuel speculation must be outlawed.

What do you think??

dotcon madness.

real estate madness.

new car madness.

now commodity madness.

that is enough madness for anyone to recognize that speculation is not good for Americans.

there are too many of those that profit from that madness and have learned how to prey on the soundness and create artificial bubb;les of their own making and bailing out on their game is proof of the bubbles they create.

They play us.

Who are they?

They aren't craftsmen and tradesmen and blue collar workers, farmers, ranchers, retail clerks, cops, firemen , teachers, etc., are they?

Avarice and greed don't wear ties anymore.

they pretentiously make their trendy fashion statement by loooking like the working class.

Slumming is cool.

We can give them their hearts desire when we stop buying into their tricks.

when they only have themselves to play with, maybe it will stop.

NOT!!!!!!!

we have to throw the bums out starting at the local level and proving our representatives each step of the way in the proving grounds of accmplishment in office, as politicians, and in business, as faithful employers deserving our attention and assistance by their loyal diligence and competence to lead and guide and work for us little people.

It starts with us and ends with us.

We must veote with our wallets and our conscience and speak the truth ourselves to recognize truth in our leaders.

Our leaders are us.

we got what we got.

It is what it is.

wishful thinking.

California has governor that fights back, as best he can.

It just goes to show that we do have some options.

lifted from a rant on craigslist. LOL

When housing values go down so does property tax.
when spending goes down so does sales tax.
when manufacturing goes down so does corporate tax.

the state has less money than they were hoping for, and unlike normal people there reaction isn't to cut back on their expenses cross the board they want to just keep spending like they used to and just put the shortfall on a credit card. what would happen if we all did that, spent every dime we made and than charged 10% more to a visa with the idea that we will pay back later.

1 of the Stupid things that was on this budget was a 10% increase in witholdings, now they weren't raising taxes they were just going to raise the withholding and they would pay us back later. Do you want to loan the state money to cover its short fall and hope they can find the money in next years budget to pay you back.

Arnie was right to threaten the legislature, they need to make the budget work without borrowing money from an already cash strapped population

Imagine that.

killing two birds with one stone.
