even though store clerks still follow me around in stores. couldn't resist well people will wait until I leave a public bathroom or hit the locks on their car doors when I walk by in a parking lot and even clutch their purses in most any store I shop in... I call these people special, and I don't mean that in a good way... it's the way some people think, judge by skin color and not by character.... it's really sad when you think about it I just got up and made sure my front door was locked. Thanks! one of those

I used to live in the ghetto. Ever been stopped by cops for "Walking while White in the Hood"? Yep... They call the immediate search 'proable cause, suspisious person' and say things like 'You must be buying drugs cause you don't belong here'. Try this one... I went to a neigborhood in North Las Vegas once to look at a house. It was a nice house. Well kept, good price, nice location. I did not look at the people in the area I just started the paperwork. When I went to the house with the realestate agent for my second look... Several people came over. I was informed politely but firmly that 'my kind' would not be welcome in that neigborhood. That it would be in by 'best interest' and much 'safer for my kids' if I forgot about purchasing in that neigborhood. Not one person was mean or nasty. They just did not want a white boy living there. Actually the funnest part was the realestate agent. I think he pissed himself... Can't imagine why... They were all friendly.

Before anyone gets the idea that this was in any way part of the 'race card'. Those people were abosolutly right. They had finally rid their community of the gangs and criminals after a four year struggle. (those criminals had relocated several blocks away). My presense in that community would have brought some of that element back (they would have considered me an easy target). I would have been placing my family in danger... And families in the community in danger.

I've been followed by store security. I've also been called a Skinhead because of my skin color and hair cut. I'm not a Skinhead!

I had a black friend that lived in a predominatly African American neighborhood and I was dropping him off from work and I was stopped by a (white)cop and he told me that he would throw me in jail if he seen me there again. He thought I was trying to buy drugs just becuz I was a white dude in a black neighborhood
