Well... here's my rant... for what it's worth.

We are about one month away from putting yet another unqualified nin-com-poop in the Oval Office. And... I thought I would remind all of you fine folks that I am indeed running for Presieent on the write-in ticket.

I assessed the entire list of candidates available a year or so ago, and I honestly di not see EVEN ONE that I thought would be a good leader for the wealthiest country in the world.

Not one....

Not the two idjits they have at the top of the parties now, either... neither one of these guys are worth a damn, and it seems we have the same worthless crap develop in every election these days.

So, just vote for me.

You still get to vote, but you don't have to vote for some ninny who wastes MILLIONS of dollars on a campaign for a job that pays about $200,000 a year... what's up with that?

Here in Michigan, during the elections for governor, DeVoss spent SIXTY MILLION of his own money... AND LOST. I figured out later that he could feed a city of 10,000 for about 3.33 years for that kind of cash..... meanwhile Michigan's unemployment keeps blasting through the roof.

These same types of people are of the same mindset that now want us to vote for them in the Presidential election.

NOT...

We should all vote "none of the above".... as in the Richard Pryor movie "Brewster's Millions".

The country is in trouble and we do not have the core leadership that can do anything to prevent the current situations for getting worse. Its the same old partisan politics blasting millions on campaign funds.

Liberals -- basically that school of thought that says higher taxes, more social programs, more government dependency... blah, blah, blah...

Conservatives -- basically that school of thought that says lower taxes, less social programs, less government dependency... blah, blah, blah...

Its like these folks have conned us into reacting and thinking like a broken record... sorry, my brain doesn't work like that.

I am neither Republican or Democrat... I am not some kind of "Libertarian"... I don't apply to the "Green" Party... they honest to friggin' goodness do NOT have a category for me.

-- How about somebody that knows that the reality of the matter is that about ALL politicians are richie-rich folks who were born with a golden spoon in their mouth, who have not been to the grocery store by themselves in FOREVER... who do NOT even know what the actual cost of a loaf of bread IS these days... who have existed on daddy and mummy's money since DAY ONE... and eat at their family dining room... food that is prepared by servants, who do the shopping for them.

And its been that way a Long Long time.....

Most of them went to Harvard... I don't personally know ANYONE that went to Harvard... or Yale... or any Ivy League school that gets $1,000+ per credit hour... but an amazing amount of current politicians seem to have gotten the chance to go there... hmmmmmmmmmm.

My rant doesn't just end with Obama and McCain... nope... it gets pointed at a vast majority of politicians who are SUPPOSED to be representing the voting constituency. Yet, they are MORE LIKELY answering to the lobbyists who pump money into their campaigns every November.

Sorry, there is something really screwed up with an oil industry that is reaping BILLIONS in profits, while thousands of Americans are unemployed, and we ALL have to pay near to the $4.00 a gallon gas price.

-- It took from the invention of oil to 1980 for the price to get from zero to one dollar a gallon.
-- It took from 1980 to about 2003 for gas to go from $1.00 to $2.00 a gallon.
-- It took from about 2003 to 2007 for the gas prices to go from $2.00 to $3.00 a gallon...
-- Then it took about THREE MONTHS for the prices to go from $3.00 to $4.00 a gallon last year.

Now every time we have a hurricance in the Gulf, they can raise the price of gas....

...howbeit they have had hurricanes hit the Gulf since the dinosaurs roamed the planet....

Not one politician is doing jack poop to change any of that....

Green philosophies doesn't work... forget your green car and your happy green underwear...

What WOULD work is to force LEGISLATION that makes the oil company's sell gas at a cheaper rate. Allowing them to pig out on profits at our expense is NOT the right policy. It is a system of government that has been PAID to look the other way while the oil companies literally RAPE the consumers savings accounts to death.

"Sorry, I couldn't afford to make my house payment this month (or last) because I had to pay so much for fuel to get to work..."

Now the folks that mishandled all of the mortgage money are getting FREE money from the goverment to help out their (what would have been) bankrupt businesses.

Damn, I hope they bail me out next time I get close to bankruptcy.....

Like the time I had to pay $4.00 a gallon for gas.....

Its not the current President's fault... nor the guy before him... nor the guy before him, etc... the system just plain sucks. We literally need some kind of revolution to set this stuff right. But guess who sits on top of all of the airplanes with bombs they can throw at people from 50 miles away? Uncle Sam. They also own all the tanks, and would use them against the people if the need arose. I take it you saw the dis-arming of New Orleans during Katrina? Door-to-door line backers, armed with machine guns, pointing them at innocent law-abiding citizens.

Yup, that's freedom, all right... and George Washington is doing donuts in his grave....

I know what will happen if John McCain becomes President... the country will go to hell...

and guess what...?

I know what will happen if Barack Obama becomes President... the country will go to hell...

Yup... doesn't matter who you vote for, they are basically the same and identically intrenched in the same beauracracy.

We live in dire times, and some political analysts believe we will see the end of the American Empire in this century. I can see where that could happen...

It is as if Nero is standing at the gates of Rome, playing his violin, watching Rome burn...

We are Rome...

Nero is the system of government we have that does NOTHING to help the people these days...

Meanwhile Rome is burning...

Vote for me, TelephoneMan...

What the hell... its better than voting for either of the nin-com-poops they got in there running right now...
