BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) _ A Connecticut judge has given the brush-off to a blonde woman's lawsuit claiming L'Oreal Inc. ruined her social life when she accidentally dyed her hair brunette with one of its products.

Charlotte Feeney of Stratford says she can never return to her natural blonde hue, a shock that left her so traumatized she needed anti-depressants.

She says she suffered headaches and anxiety, missed the attention that blondes receive and had to stay home and wear hats most of the time.

A Superior Court judge dismissed Feeney's 2005 lawsuit Monday, saying she never proved her allegation that L'Oreal put brown hair dye in a box labeled as blonde. The company also had disputed the claim.

Feeney referred questions on Wednesday to her attorney, David Laudano, who has declined to comment.

slaphead slaphead talk about jamming our courts with stupid suits/claims slaphead slaphead

was she not aware she had to read the box not just look at the pretty picture rofl

*Here's the solution, shave it off, it doesn't affect new hair growth rofl

People sure do the dumbest things

My question is since she apparently did this in 2005 why the h*ll can she not dye it again??! It has been long enough to have enough new hair growth to be able to move on - and even if it had been more recent, she could have her hair professionally stripped and then they could add pigment back in to get to the correct blonde hue that she wants. It can be expensive, but since she took this to court obviously money is not the issue. noway

I think this proves my theory, that 'blondes' that dye their hair are the ones that give all blonde's a bad name. The bleach and chemicals from the dye sink down their roots and into their brain! Cause them to be ditzy and lack intelligence! Yep yep yep!

by now her hair has grown - either get it professionally treated or hell bleach it again - sure she has the knowledge on how to bleach her hair rofl

cut it off - start fresh

stay outta the court systems - there are real issues that need addressing not this persons stupidity and lack of good old common sense, like reading the box...

Um I am a guy and don't dye my hair actually I dont have any appreciable amount of hair most the time to dye anyways lol, but doesn't the creme look different?

Like Brown is dark colored . . . and blond not dark . . . .?

So when she was putting this in her hair, wouldn't she be able to tell the diff right off the rip?

I think if your hair color causes this kind of emotional stress you shouldn't sue, you should seek help.

didn't she look at the box?!?
brunette color doesn't look like blond on any box I have seen

I'm sorry, but this is too funnyrofl rofl rofl

And she's upset that her hair won't be a natural blond any more

she enjoys telling people she's a natural blond, not a bleached one...

I have friends that swear on everything they are a natural blond...

I don't get it, but it's a big thing to be a natural and not bleached
