Other than the fact that it's completely unworkable due to human pettiness and greed, etc., I think it's a great idea. In theory.

If it happens, I would predict a very short life span for the new regime. There are those who miss the "old days," but Russian Communism -- which was never really Communism at all, in the dictionary sense of the term -- is outmoded and totally ineffective. It didn't even really work well when it was at its "height" --

Thanks Lex for your insight! I heard Gorbachev is interested in reapplying his position. Not sure if he is going to win. We shall see what will happen with this country. I hope peace endures though regardless of what decisions they make.
