that 90% of the people disagree with and protested to appeal this law! Could Congress still refuse and demand the law to stay in place or would they be forced to change it?

I ask this for I want to know if Democracy really works in this nation?

Well...

Didn't they allready do this...

The original Paulson Plan!

What they will do is simply redirect the law from the Senate instead of the House... Add a bunch of camel dung to it (currently known as sweetners) and pass it back to the house.

I am comming around to the idea that the best way to control Congress...

Is the 2nd ammendment... The true Homeland Security.

Read it AFTER you read the Declaration of Independance... Perhaps then you might get its true meaning.

The time for questioning and putting down a law is before it gets into chamber. People must start complaining to their representatives before it becomes law. Of course, someone can always draw up another law to negate the previous one after the fact.

I am a constant writer to my representatives, letting my position be known.

This is not a democracy...it is a federal republic......The balance of power, ie. The supreme court will preside over the legality of the law

I ask this for I want to know if Democracy really works in this nation?
