papers people want to see:

People want to know more about the McCain's Taxes. Hmm, from a man who can't remember how many houses he has, thinks people who are making 1 million are middle class, and thought the economy was still on firm foundations, I can understand this.

He let people look at his med records, but not copy them. Okay, I kinda agree. He disclosed them, but why do you need people running around with hard copies of the info.

Obama talked about being a civil rights lawyer. The firm handled non-Civil Rights cases as well. People want to see his clients list because they are upset that he spent 30 % of his billable hours on non-civil rights cases. Um, that means he spent 70% of his billable hours on Civil Rights cases. Seems to me that he lived up to his claims. The firm won't release this, probably because Obama attached the list to the mandatory financial disclosure statements he had to file
while a Senator. He has already disclosed information that could have been used against him, so why would he try to hide any.

Bidens records from his check-ups after his annurisms. Back in 1988. Okay, he had some annurisms 20 years ago. He hasn't had problems that interfered with his political life since. I would guess that he made the changes in his life style to prevent any more. That long ago, I'm not as worried about it. But with Obama's age, I'm not as concerned about him as I am about Palin having to take over the top job. McCain's
age and health bothers me a whole lot more than Biden's.

Palin: they have actual evidence that she had copied emails on state business to her husband who didn't need that info and wasn't working in any capacity on that business as well as actual evidence that she let him use state resources in dealing with private, personal disputes. Yes, I can understand the demand that she release her private emails. Since she was using private email accounts to conduct this state business.

Biden's earmarks. Since he is the only one of the four that hasn't released this info, I understand the people's desires to see it. He did release the list of everything he had wanted money for, just not the list of things he actually received. Hm, in a way, it is almost more transparent than the others. They showed what they got money for, he showed everything he wanted, so we know what types or requests he was putting in.

Again with the McCain taxes, apparently, he and Cindy keep their finanaces separate and she has most of the money and homes and other than the fact he doesn't have much compared to her, he won't say what he does have. But anyone that things people have to be making at least a million to be well off yet doesn't think there was a problem with the economy proves a state of being out of touch with the average citizen of this country and can't really relate.

College transcripts for Palin and Obama. I'm sorry, I don't really feel the need to know what grades they received in college. As for Palin's prof's not remembering her, I was in a lot of large classes and I think most prof's don't remember most students. This seems like grasping at straws in boths accounts.

Favors relating to money issue and fund raising. Obama accepted money in excess of the maximum donation from people who donated a lot in mini-donations. What people don't hear about is that he had them go through and return the excess funds to people who donated too much. You also don't hear that McCain also accepted excess donations from people and the FEC requested he return the excessive donations. Can't find out if he actually did or not. When he was having trouble raising money, he used a jet owened by a company his wife controls. For five months it was used nearly exclusively for campaign purposes. When the campaign
reimbursed the company, the company charged them far less than it would normally cost to charter that jet.

I would like to add to this:

"He let people look at his med records, but not copy them. Okay, I kinda agree. He disclosed them, but why do you need people running around with hard copies of the info."

The medical records covered 8 yrs. and there were 1,173 pages.
The media (not doctors) had only 3 hrs. to look through all of those pages.

Yes, but it was the Media that kept requesting them, for their articles. Do you want random reports to have your medical records to carry around and store for who knows how long? It isn't like he was hiding them.

No, I wouldn't. But..3 hrs. is not a long time for reading over 1,000 pages.
