If someone makes between $680,000 and 2.8 million - McCain will give them a $109,314 tax break. With Obama - they will pay an extra $121,689.

If someone makes between $37,000 and $66,000 - they will see an extra $608 with McCain's plan and an extra $1,118 with Obama's plan.

People who earn up to $18,725/yr. will get a $65.00 tax cut from McCain and $567 cut from Obama.

Anyone that votes based on how much money they're getting back from the IRS needs to sit back and look at the picture. All it is doing is buying the votes from the ignorant. you have to look at the effect on the nation as a whole instead of your pocketbook. greed got us into the mess we're in now, we don't need to perpetuate it with more greed.

heck the way its going now the entire country could be bankrupt and we will have to sell Alaska back to Russia and Hawaii to Japan, what else could we sell to keep from enslaveing our grand kid to the debt created by the bankrupt policies of the republican party?

I'm not voting by what they say about the taxes. There are other issues to be taken into consideration. There is the economy, health care, education, foreign policies. It pays to be educated about their issues in all of these areas.

the existing tax code is in effect until 2010,...then it reverts back to Clinton's plan.....refer to beachbum's line...unless congress changes it!!!

if you don't have a job...then it really doesn't matter ...does it?????

It matters to me to see how the candidates feel about issues.
I want to be informed.

Did anybody tell the candidate's that it didn't matter? McCain sure spends a good time talking about it in his speeches.

Btw, if somebody doesn't have a job, it doesn't mean that they won't eventually.
