Just my thought. First gas prices went up.
Which caused people to cut back. Prices on every thing else went up. People quit buying new cars. Auto workers lost their houses. Banks got a bunch of houses back.
Wall street crumbled. As auto suppliers lost work also. We need to get the auto workers back to work building fuel efficient cars. Start drilling our own oil. End that stupid war.And put america back to work

Yeah I agree.. But gas prices are the lowest they've been in years here so it's kinda nice, but still people are holding back because of the holidays and what not. Wish we were back on a barter system instead of relying on money. It's sad to see all the poverty and what not

I have a tenant that is behind on his rent. And I was giving him $10.00 an hour to help me refinish an apartment. But he didn't show up today. I'm just kinda peaved.

We cant drill our way out of dependence on foreign oil. Check out http://www.pickensplan.com/index.php...The man made his money in oil and puts the facts out there. Even if you don't agree its a good read! Now , the automakers wants 50 billion to retool an outdated technology with a finite source. Hey it makes me go HMMMMMMMMMM.

The rising gas prices is more due to the value of our dollar gauged against the value of everyone else's dollar. If we drill our own oil, it would still remain an international industry.

Focus of the value of our dollar, the cost of living decreases. Cut taxes, get businesses back.

Side note:

If our dollar were still backed by gold the price wouldn't have risen at all in the last 10 or 15 years. This is no B.S. Maybe we should reback our dollar...
