As Mark suggested above, you may want to temporarily disable the pop-up blocked to see if it makes a difference.
Other than that, perhaps upgrading to IE 7 will do the trick. I can't guarantee that it will, unfortunately. |

Upgrading to IE7 shouldn't make any difference. I had IE7 quite a while back, and I regressed back to IE6 because there were certain things IE7 wouldn't let me do, and IE6 would. I'm running IE6 right now, and my smileys works just fine.
