New Orleans is where I had the best alligator. Let's all go to N.O. and have a big vacation...umm as soon as I win the lotto. Heck, I'd even invite Linddy! Rum Boogie Cafe on Beale Street in New Orleans. They have the best Alligator Soup! ![]() ![]() Edit: OOPS!! ![]() I meant Beale Street in Memphis, TN. |

Alligator is yummy! yes it is i had it at the outback steakhouse in branson mo (not affiliated with the chain of outback steakhouses) i would eat there again if i got back to branson I've been to Branson a few times. have you been to the outback there pretty cool have bunches of stuff on the walls and hnging from the ceiling it hsa been about 12 years at least since i was there i asked hem t bring the menu back the waitress gave me a funny look and asked if i was still hungry i told her no but wanted to see what i may want to order when i went to another outback that is when she told me they where not affiliated and sold the name on the condition they would not build one within (i think) 200 mile and they could continue using the name i think that is how it went its been awhile Is that the place that looks like a mining cave? |

![]() This thread reminds me of a joke. At an army training camp in Florida, the Sargent is giving a talk: "The main quality we look for in this army is commitment and toughness this is what I call commitment and toughness." An alligator came in the room and bit the Sargent penis. It stayed there for about a 10 seconds then the Sargent poked it in the eyes and kicked it off. "Now who's ready to show their commitment?" said the Sargent. A man put his hand up and said "I will, but promise you won't poke me in the eyes." 2 1/2...and I don't mean inches... ![]() |

We have a 12 footer right down the street in a pond. Its a old drainage pond for the road. The biggest I have ever seen was pushing 20ft. The good eating ones are the smaller ones. 4'to6'
