I didn't know this site had so many ads on it till I signed on here from another computer. Mine shows no banner ads =)

Here's how:

Install this http://everythingisnt.com/NoAdHOSTS.exe then reboot your computer. Don't worry, it will not harm your computer in any way.

What it does is add entries in your HOSTS file that serve to block common ad sites. I'm pretty sure it will get rid of most, if not all ads on this site. Mine shows no ads whatsoever.

Oh, I forgot to mention that it only works for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP. I'm pretty sure it works on Vista too.

Mac & Linux users will have to find another solution

If you use Firefox the AdBlock Plus extension does the same thing. If an ad does show up you can right click it and block it so it won't show up in the future.

Sounds like a good solution for Firefox users.

The HOSTS ad block I posted above will block ads for all browsers BTW. It's a simple and effective solution IMO.

Except it doesn't work on some of the ads. The Date Married Women ad doesn't give me the block option.

Try the thingy in my OP. Might clean the rest of it up for you.

Nope, seems to be the same as the firefox adblock.
