Aleister Crowley proclaimed himself the biblical "Great Beast."

What did he believe?

Crowley liked to shock people. He founded a philosophy called Thelema (Greek for "will"), which has adherents today. Its founding and core statement: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." That sounds anarchic, but Crowley was advocating that each person should define and seek his or her own highest purpose in life. He was only a beast to those who believed we should live strictly regimented and carefully pious lives.

Did you share his idealogy? If not explain and if so explain also.

I am pretty much behind him here.

That every person should be free to make their own judgments as to right and wrong and not be forced into acting in accordance with the wishes of someone with which they do not agree.

This goes against the grain of the “Democratic” viewpoint, where right and wrong is determined by majority vote. I think Crowley totally understood that the concept of "majority rule" had one major inherent flaw - by definition, it discriminates against the minority. That is, it effectively says that the rights of the minority are dependent on the whims of the majority.

A truly egalitarian society is one in which all members enjoy truly equal freedom. And his core statement is a very concise expression of the law of such a society. It is truly “universal personal freedom”.
