So I just am a little curious...does Karma really exist? Do you think
that someone who does something REALLY REALLY dirty and decietful to
someone undeserving of this action will get bitch-slapped by Karma in
the future???

No!!!!!!

My perception of Karma is this.

The tree stooges syndrome.

Why do bad things happen to good people?
My explanation is this.

Moe hits Larry. Larry says " I didn't do anything." Moe said " thats in
case you did "

Woo Woo Wooo!

Curley shuffle.

other day

Did your dogma bark at your Karma in the process?

No one wants that.

All jokes aside...karma absolutely exists..and some times it happens
before and after and instantly..The evidence is overwhelming and
everywhere..Look for the ironies...WILL

I know for a fact karma exsists and works...and some times it works a
little too well.

Let me explain, and bear with me because I have to set this up to put it
all in proper perspective. I used to live with this girl and things were
going good, or so I thought My work has me travel a lot during certain
parts of the year, and eventually she got fed up with it. She started
accusing me of cheating and stuff right before I had to leave again and
we got into this huge row about it that ended with me leaving her still
screaming and cursing at me.

While I was gone, I began to feel bad about the fight and even tried to
call a couple of times to apologize even though I hadn't done anything
wrong. She never picked up when I called and that just made me feel even
worse, thinking she was just that pissy at me she wasn't going to take
my calls. So, I actually cancelled the last day of the convention, which
incidently pissed off people that had wanted to attend my panel, and
decided to fly back home early to surprise her.

Yeah, I sure surprised her, alright. I roll back into town and call a
mutal friend of ours to pick me up at the airport. When she gets there,
she's acting funny around me and I ask what's up. She then breaks down
and tells me she can't stand to see me being made a fool out of any more
and tells me that my girlfriend, the one I was feeling bad about
fighting with when she accused me of cheating, was at that moment over
at some guy down the street's flat shagging him.

I'd like to say I handled this in a mature manner, but I don't want to
lie to you. I made my friend stop at a Home Depot and picked up some new
dead bolts, and then went home and changed the locks on the front door.
After the locks were changed, I started packing all her clothes, shoes
and other belongings and dropped them off at her mum's flat. After all
that was done, I called my ex and calmly told her whoever she was
shagging that he had better be able to fit all her crap in his place
because she was out of mine. She came running home ASAP and tried to get
in the house to stop me but no dice thanks to the new locks. So she's
standing there in front of the house, screaming and cursing me to high
heaven, while the neighbors are gathering to see what's going on and I'm
sitting there calmly watching her from the window, nodding or shaking my
head at appropriate spots. She's got the nuts to tell me that the reason
she needed to be with someone else is because I'm too nice and yet never
around when she needs someone to "talk to". WTF, right?

"Next time try talking with your legs shut, love, and you might get let
back into the flat. Cheers" I think I said or something like that.
Anyways, after awhile of this she pulls a dirty trick and starts crying
and begging me to forgive her. Again, I'd like to say I was a right hard
bastard and told her to go bugger herself, but nope, I broke down and
like an idiot I let her back in to talk. Talking led to more crying,
crying led to hugging, hugging led to kissing, and so on and so on.

Yeah, I know...Stupid ass me, right?

So we make up, we make love, she promises it'll never happen again, and
we're good. The next day she says she's going to her mum's to pick up
her stuff and bring it back to the flat, right? Well, she's gone for a
lot more time then I figure it should take her to go get her stuff, so I
call her mum and see what's keeping her, to which she tells me that her
daughter left hours ago. Now I'm telling myself she can't possibly be
that brazen and stupid as I go down the street to check at that guy's
flat, but sure enough there her car is. So I calmly go back home, call
her and tell her its good all her shit's in her car because she doesn't
have far at all to get home now since she's living with him, hang up and
refuse to speak to her ever again.

Flash forward about 4 years. I get a call from one of our local
hospitals. Apparently my ex in a state of panic told the ER to call me
for some reason, and I'm curious why so I agree to come down. I get
there and find her in the ER with a bruised optical cavity, broken arm,
and bruised ribs. Turns out that after we broke up for the final time,
she did move in with the guy she was shagging. What none of us knew at
the time was that he was a violent bugger and started off pushing her
around, but eventually graduated to what landed her in the hospital that
time. I did truly feel bad for her and told her she needed to get away
from the guy, which in her painkiller filled mind came out as me asking
her to get back together again. She starts telling me she never stopped
loving me and stuff, and I have to tell her I'm completely over her and
don't want anything but maybe friendship from her. She then tells me to
fuck off and she doesn't want to see me ever again, so I oblige and
leave. Not too long ago, I run into another mutual friend of ours that
she got in the break up and they tell me what a sorry state she's in.
Apparently she's just a painkiller junkie now, and has pretty much let
herself go to hell so badly that she's losing friends and family left
and right as no one wants to be around her.

So there you go...Karma does work, but sometimes it goes overboard. -=x

you are right there Will..Karma DOES exist..we as a society have just
gotten so used to blaming other ppl or things or even our God(s) for
stuff that happens that we forget we ARE the masters of our own
destiny..EVERYTHING we do in life has a positive or negative(or both)
effect on our lives..you know like when we do something stupid and it
comes back to bite us in the ass?? That's karma...or when you do
something nice strictly out of the goodness of your heart and you get
repaid 3 fold?..that's karma..or if yer driving drunk and get hit by
another impaired driver? now THAT'S karma lol....if I were to go through
just the examples in my life where I knew karma was at work, I'd need to
write a book..I'll leave you with one example where karma was hard at
work...I went to school with this one goof who always made fun of
physically disabled ppl, sometimes behind their backs, sometimes to
their faces...he stopped finally...the day he ended up paralyzed from
the neck down from a diving accident..call it cosmic justice, or the
gods getting even with him or whatever you want..it's still karma..and
before someone asks the inevitable question...well how come bad things
happen to good ppl?..that's just life...shit just sometimes happens, for
no reason, good or bad.

i agree you can never see what's about to happen, all you can do is deal
with it when it does happen, i believe in karma but i dont think it ever
has ill-intentions. karma is there so we can make sure we learn from
our mistakes
