two ropes walked into a bar and asked the bartender for some drinks. he said, "sorry guys but i don't serve ropes in here." disappointed the ropes walked all over town but didn't find another bar. finally one rope told the other that he had an idea. he got himself into a bind and frizzled his ends out. he walked back into the bar and asked the bartender for a drink. the bartender looked at him puzzled and asked, "hey, aren't you the rope from earlier?" the rope replied, "nope, i'm a frayed knot!" hahaha
