I know.

Myth is on his way back to the hospital in Boston today.

If the scans look good, he will be home in a week and I can go see him in 2.

HE, can I ask, and in no way mean this in a bad way at all, and perhaps it's just me, but I'm curious and thought I would ask.....How do you fall in love so easily with someone you've never met??? I mean, I understand the "clicking" with someone and even getting to know them really well through chatting, txt, email and phone but I just don't think I could say I "love" someone I've never met?

The same way I love Izzie, Princess, OC, you, etc.....

I didn't meet any of you, have I?

But I still would go out of my way to help you if you needed it.

Perhaps it's me than, I do care about the friends I've made on here but do not have an overall positive approach the "love" of a significant other relationshipfrown

When I was in love with Engraven, it was because we "meshed" well together and I could actually see a future once we got past our first meet.

Myth and I do love each other, but we know it will not be a "solid" love until he gets out of the hospital and can promise me more time.

It is a work in progress.

Let's put it this way.

I highly doubt many of you know I have a second daughter. She was born in 1999 and given up for adoption the day of her birth. I never got time with her, nor do I really know her except via one picture every couple years.

But I love her.

I may not love her as much as I love Nicole, but I love her. And when she comes to find me when she is 18, I know my love will change and grow stronger for her because she will become "real" to me.

Another example.

I have 2 dads. One I grew up with and love more than anything. One I just found 3 years ago (birth father). I love both. My birth father is just now starting to get the same love I have held for my dad because he is finally becoming "real" to me.

This is me. I always love blindly. Once I have solid flesh in my hands (no, not the time for dirty thoughts OC) then it becomes more real.

I don't know why I am this way. But I am.

I'm envious of the ease and capability of the amount of love you have and can express to those that are important to ((((HE)))) flowerforyou

thank you, but don't be.

It stings like a bitcsh when you get hurt, and I get hurt often.

But the world is too ugly for me to not want to try and make it a little more loving.

That's why, even in the face of adversity and being yelled at by fellow Jews, I still love the Palestinians and pray for them. No one should live in this world without love.

here's a fun conundrum.

My first daughter is Half-Muslim from an Egyptian father. My Nicole is Jewish from an Israeli father....

Way to go me! making peace through my body!

But is it worse to love with all of your heart to many and chance the heart break, or to close your heart off to most and risk missing out on more love?

love aint worth the heart ache

but thats just me

I believe strongly in the old adage, "It is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all."

I can not even begin to fathom what life would have been like if I have never experienced love and heartbreak.

It is what makes us human.

I'm on the fence with this one

With my children, I would have no doubt whatsoever about the love I have and never ever regretting opening my heart fully and without question. It's just everyone else that I have issues with frown
