I have got to start wearing my glasses when I read what threads are here. Every time I see this thread, I think it says "Let's Go Topless!"

It must be a pain in the butt not to be able to get around, I just hope you have someone to help you with shopping and things.

Can they put you in a walking shoe?
Broke mine once & they gave me a wooden shoe, just froze my foot when it was cold. |

Been on the phone all morning too found a good number to call 211. Am looking into different employment help and computer training since I'll be sitting around for awhile.

Been on the phone all morning too found a good number to call 211. Am looking into different employment help and computer training since I'll be sitting around for awhile. Thing is, for a computer course you might have to be mobile because it's something you can't do on the internet. If I get on my next course, (and I hope I do), I have to travel about 35 miles to and fro every day. |

I got crutches. And don't hurt to check it out. this is just for a start a little computer taining like some temp places do. I might be able to sit for a week but lord.

When I had my accident a couple of years ago I couldn't do anything. I couldn't walk, couldn't sit, couldn't lie down, it was all pain. And on crutches you are not too bad either, but you have to be careful with your hands, they will hurt. Best thing you can do is to get gloves like cyclists or athletes wear, they are padded and take a lot of pressure from your palms. |
