Usually I pay someone else to "take care of" someone for me. And it isn't cheap.

Yea, I'm being asked to help, not really even dating just started hanging out, she lost her job and immediatley when we started seeing each other told me she wants to be a stay at home mom...I was like uuuhhh ok. I dont wanna be rude and I love kids but I'm not looking to take care of someone right off the bat.

if she has asked for help already with the baby and said that....red flag.....you don't discuss stay at home mom options unless you're married, and hopefully prior to having the children at all

I say red flag...

be a nice person, but be careful..very very careful

She's dropping hints such as, "Man i need to pay my cell phone by jan 31st and i have no money" and "Wow so I'm so broke i cant even buy tampons" and "Id really like to be your girl and I really want to be a stay at home mom, can you help me with that? (Smacks me on the ass)" Very out there with her hints and such lol

hehehe...yeah.. run away

its one thing if you see her struggling for a while and then she asks for something like diapers or maybe, maybe utilities (of course I would tell her where to go to get help for that other than your wallet) and is almost ashamed to do so...

but shes not.. sounds like she is looking for an easy way out... and you seem to be it

run..run away from a relationship with this one....

umm yea I would have to go with she is one of those that likes to play people... I am only 21 and I take care of my little girl by myself...I dont expect any guy that isnt the father to step in and buy anything, if they do thats their choice but I would never ask them to just as I would never tell somebody I just met that I wanna be with them and oh yea by the way I wanna be a stay at home mom so do you think you could support that...lol I would have to abort whatever signs I was showin her of wantin anything major and let her know (if you like her) hey I like you and the baby but Im not up for this responsiblity yet, specially when its not mine and just being pushed on me and we arent even really together!

Yikes! I've never ever asked a man for money. Where's her pride and self esteem?

If she needs help, she needs to go to a food pantry or Salvation Army or apply for heat grants and such, IMO.

She says he abandoned her before the child was born, I do feel sorry for her, but I think she needs to get on her own two feet just like she was when she had a job. Ive been trying to help her find a job, I made a resume for her and such, but I dont think she has the drive to do what needs to be done unfortunatley.

Take care of a kid of a girl you just started dating?

Babysit? I wouldn't let a man do that when I'm dating him. I would only let him do that if I'm in a serious relationship.
Totally, and anyone how wants you to.....BEWAREsurprised

okay heres the deal..if she knows the guys name..she needs to file for child support
she should have already done it..if she doesn't know the guys name.. thats just uck
you have got to let her know, she can't rely on you to take care of her and her baby...its not being mean..its being right.. helping out because one month went way to far south is one thing, helping out because she doesn't WANT to do it.. not good news for anyone involved
