Hi , I live and work in Bristol, and am currently involved in building a replica paddle steamer which evacuated 7000 troops from Dunkirk, the original ship was beyond repair and the heritage lottery fund has put up the money to build a new one from scratch, it is or was called the Medway Queen, 180 ft. long, it will be the first ship to be riveted together for about 60 years so it is a very steep learning curve, it should take about 2 years to build! check it out on google if you are interested! noodle
